Journey

Meru
savanna: Open grasslands, woodland and riverine forests form a rich mosaic, inviting us to explore how water shapes the landscape and the lives of its wildlife.

Mt Kenya
forest: On Mount Kenya’s slopes, layered forests and bamboo shelter diverse wildlife and gather water that sustains rivers and communities far beyond the mountain.

Watamu
coast: Coral reefs, seagrass meadows and mangrove creeks reveal an interconnected coastal world, where the tides shape habitats and the rhythms of marine life.
An immersive journey through Meru, Mount Kenya, & Watam
Kenya | October 2027 | Three weeks
Step beyond the familiar and discover Kenya through three distinct landscapes: the savannas of Meru, the forests of Mount Kenya and the Indian Ocean coast at Watamu. This three-week eco-safari invites you to encounter wildlife, explore ecological connections and make room for a different rhythm of attention.
In Meru, we will explore a landscape of open grasslands, woodland and rivers, looking beyond individual sightings to the relationships that sustain life. An animal’s movements, a bird’s call or the shade of a tree can open a larger story about the world around us.
Around Mount Kenya, our attention turns to forest: its layers, sounds and quieter encounters. Here, curiosity takes the lead as we consider how different environments shape the lives within them—and how slowing down can change what we notice.
At Watamu, the journey meets the sea. Coastal habitats, coral reefs and mangroves offer another perspective on interdependence, alongside time to enjoy the shore and reflect on the landscapes we have travelled through.
Throughout, guided exploration will sit alongside conversation, reflective practices and unhurried time outdoors. There is no prescribed way to feel and no requirement to turn every encounter into a lesson. The invitation is simpler: arrive with curiosity, engage your senses and allow experience to deepen understanding.
This is a journey for people who want more than a checklist of sightings: an opportunity to learn, enjoy good company and experience nature as a living world to which we belong.
Come for the wildlife, the forests and the sea. Bring your sense of adventure and a willingness to see what becomes possible when you give the world your attention, with space for your own discoveries
